This 36 week program provides the student with the necessary knowledge to be employable in the healthcare industry. The Medical Assisting program entails Anatomy and Physiology, Medical Terminology, Clinical Lab procedures, Phlebotomy Skills, Medical Office Administration, Computer Skills, Introduction to Medical Billing, Business English, and Math courses. Following instruction, students are placed in an externship of 160 hours of supervised hands-on experience.

After completing the program, the individual receives a certificate in Medical Assisting. Numerous occupations in this field include Medical Assisting, Clinical Assistants, Administrative Medical Assistants, and Office Managers.
