As a project of Mission Language & Vocational School (MLVS) and the Latino Cuisine Culinary Academy (LCCA), Florida Street Café and Catering Services helps support these vocational training programs and improve employment opportunities in the restaurant industry through internship opportunities onsite. Students with no or minimal experience in the restaurant industry are educated in the skills necessary to secure living wage jobs with advancement potential. Your support of LCCA aids MLVS in its mission of empowering San Francisco’s unemployed and working poor minorities, serving as a true model of community reinvestment!
Florida Street Catering Services: Designed to fulfill the catering needs of corporations, government entities, small businesses, other community-based organizations, and individuals in San Francisco and the Bay Area, the mission of the Florida Street Catering Services is to provide the best service, freshest and healthiest products, from breakfast platters, box lunches, and luncheons, to delicious food for afternoon teas and gatherings, appreciation dinners, festive parties, and milestone celebrations.
Florida Street Commercial Kitchen and Food Court: The Florida Street Café kitchen has recently been converted into a microenterprise commercial kitchen space to accommodate multiple tenants/ small business food vendors, including Florida Street Café. The food court will give Florida Street Café and other interested tenants the opportunity to offer takeout or sit-down lunches and group accommodations to its clients, and to display their goods.

Florida Street Club: We are an open, warehouse-like space ideal for large events in the heart of the San Francisco mission. With hardwood floors and 20 ft. high ceilings, the Club is a flexible venue suitable for many types of events: cultural events, social dance, lectures, workshops, musical performances, banquets, and small trade shows. Located on the second floor of the Mission Language and Vocational School, we also team up with the school’s culinary academy through the Florida Street Cafe to provide excellent and affordable catering services.
